Location and Access

Cove Tobago is nestled in the island's south-western peninsula between the commercial nodes of Scarborough and Crown Point. It is strategically located in relation to the transport infrastructure, which comprises the main arterial, the Claude Noel Highway, the A.N.R. Robinson International Airport and the Port of Scarborough. Park Features

The Cove Eco-Industrial and Business Park comprise a total of 28.3 hectares (70 acres) with available leasable space in the Built Development Zone and Developed Land.

Built Development Zone

The Built Development Zone at Cove Tobago currently comprises two (2) Multi-producer Units and two (2) Factory shells, all named after well-known entrepreneurs from Tobago.

Land Space

Cove Tobago offers lease land for tenants who are desirous of constructing their own production facility. Lots come outfitted with ready utility connection points. 28.3 hectares (70 acres) have been developed for tenancy and lots are available in varying sizes.

 
 

Multi-Producer Units

Multi-Producer Units are designed to facilitate the manufacturing operations of medium and small businesses. These facilities can be outfitted by tenants to meet their operational needs. In addition, the MPUs are compliant with local and international standards to facilitate the tenant’s need to obtain pertinent certifications for the exportation of their products.

  • Structural steel-framed building designed for Light Manufacturing and Agro-processing operations.
  • Comprise two levels
  • 4 units on each level (8 units each)
  • Each unit ranges from 53.2m2 (573 ft2) to 130.1m2 (1,400 ft2)

Factory Shells

Factory Shells are available to businesses requiring space for manufacturing or other operations, in alignment with the Park’s designated activities.

  • Both factory shells are ideally suited for light manufacturing
  • Consists of 2 units with 278.1 m2 (3,000 ft2) of factory space and 111.5 m2 (1,200 ft2) of office space
  • Building have been outfitted with common service areas which include loading bay, welfare and safety facilities
  • Supporting infrastructure includes electrical, telecommunications and water.

Land Space

Cove Tobago offers lease land for tenants who are desirous of constructing their own production facility. Lots come outfitted with ready utility connection points.

  • 28.3 hectares (70 acres) of the 56.6 hectares (140 acres), have been developed for tenancy and lots are available in varying sizes –
  • Small plots ranging from 743.2 m2 (8,200 ft2) to 2,500m2 (26,909.78 ft2)
  • Medium sized plots between 2.500m2 (26,910ft2) to 4,999 m2 (53,819 ft2)
  • Large plots from 5,000m2 (53,820 ft2) to 10,000.1 m2 (107,640 ft2)
  • Larger spaces can be negotiated

Amenities & Utilities

  • ROADS

    6-meter-wide dual carriageway with two 2.3-meter-wide sidewalks and utility corridors for underground services.
  • WATER SUPPLY

    Uninterrupted supply of water with water storage tank farm with an average of 18,000 gallons of potable water.
  • ELECTRICITY

    Supplied through a 12kVA underground cable. Tenants will have access to 220 volts and 480 volts for industrial use.
  • NATURAL GAS

    The Park is the landing point for a large natural gas pipeline and receiving station operated by the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC).
  • WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT

    Cove Tobago has two (2) anaerobic ponds which are self-contained with a capacity of 6,032m . This water stabilisation facility naturally treats the Park’s sanitary waste.
  • TELECOMMUNICATIONS

    High-capacity underground fibre optic communication infrastructure is in place throughout the park.
  • SECURITY

    The entire perimeter of the Park is fenced , with primary security at the entrance where all access is controlled on a 24/7 basis.
